Leadership Biographies
Patricia Moore joined St Ann's Residence as the Administrator in 1991. St. Ann's became an independent not for profit in 1992 and Pat was appointed Executive Director of Wingspan Life Resources. Pat ensures that the organization as a whole runs efficiently and effectively, that it remains financially stable, and that the service provided is of the highest quality. Her responsibilities include: Administrative tasks, Fundraising and Development, Strategic Planning/Visioning, Financial Management, Marketing & Public Relations and attends and coordinates all Board Meetings and Board Committees. Pat has a MSW Masters in Social Work and is LISW licensed in the State of Minnesota.
Mike Weigel, Chief Financial Officer
Mike joined Wingspan Life Resources in February 2003. He is responsible for the financial activities of the organization, providing financial reports and analysis to both internal and external stakeholders and ensures that financial statements conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Therese Davis, Director of Residential Services
Therese joined St. Ann's Residence in 1977 as Program Manager/Developer. She was appointed Director of Residential Services of Wingspan Life Resources when St Ann's became an independent not for profit in 1992. Therese ensures that residential and in home support service programs reflect the vision and values of Wingspan Life Resources and meet state, county and federal licensing guidelines. She provides leadership and vision throughout the entire organization.
Nancy Schafer, Director of Program Services
Nancy joined St. Ann's Residence in 1981 as Health Services Supervisor. She was appointed Director of Program Services of Wingspan life Resources in 1992. Her responsibilities have focused upon the development of community-based services that adapt to the needs of older adults who are risk of nursing home placement. In 2001 Nancy spearheaded the development of Tsev Laus Kaj Siab, a culturally specific, licensed Adult Day Program for Hmong elders, and currently oversees the program.
Pamela Carlson, Director of Operations
Pam joined Wingspan Life Resources in 2001. She is responsible for the IT/Computer support for the entire organization, supervision of maintenance staff and maintenance functions, office support supervision, vendor relationships, auditing of consumer financials, and the Volunteer Program. Pam strives to research reduced pricing for computer equipment and software, medical, household and office supplies so that Wingspan can be as efficient as possible. Pam has a B.A. in Business Management.
Lesley Erickson, Director of Development
Lesley Erickson joined Wingspan Life Resources in 2004. Lesley manages fundraising and marketing activities at Wingspan to ensure the growth and stability of the organization. Lesley has more than 25 years nonprofit experience, specializing in office administration, fundraising, marketing, and special event planning. She has B.A. in Business/Marketing from Concordia University in St. Paul. Currently Lesley serves on the Public Relations Committee of ARRM, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Roseville Rotary.
Denise Ryan, Director of Human Resources
Denise joined Wingspan Life Resources in 2005. Denise provides support and direction to supervisors and staff on human resource policies and procedures. She is responsible for the benefits and worker compensation administration, developing and maintaining systems to ensure equitable application of personnel policies, benefits, payroll information and the requirements of regulatory agencies.
