Becoming a Team Player at Wingspan Life Resources can "make a difference" in the lives of some very special people with developmental and physical disabilities or caring for Hmong elders in a variety of unique and rewarding opportunities. As an employee of Wingspan, you will be a part of one of the most respected organizations serving disabled adults in the Minneapolis and St Paul areas.

Direct Support Professional
Provide support, training, activities and assistance to individuals in their home, in areas such as building relationships, transportation, cooking, cleaning and being a part of the community in which they live.

Program Assistant
Provide supervision and assistance to Hmong Elders participating in the Adult Day Program, creating a safe, culturally responsive environment that promotes the active involvement of those served through choice, respect, empowerment and promotion of well-being.

House Coordinator
Provide supervision to a team of staff and volunteers in a residential setting for 4 to 6 individuals with developmental disabilities. Be a committed and caring person who assures a living environment that promotes involvement of the men and women served through choice, respect and promotion of well-being. Be responsible for all on-site operational aspects of the Residential Services program and performs duties in accordance with the mission statement and policies of Wingspan Life Resources.

Positions available for full-time, part-time, on-call, days, evenings and weekends.

Wingspan looks to their current staff when promotional opportunities arise. Staff receive coaching, support and backup from the supervisory staff, many of them have worked as direct care themselves. Wingspan provides formal and on-the-job training for all employees, including mandatory and employee choice opportunities, to enhance effectiveness in supporting the individuals that we serve.
